Many have asked where I do my shopping, well this post has an answer.
I would like to compare this area to an area that I am comfy with. Downtown Toronto. It is one of those posh areas. When you are in this area, you wouldn’t think you are in Africa. It builds up a sophisticated atmosphere with walk-free paths. Those who have been there will understand my words on this page.
I love window shopping. Just gazing through windows and looking at products offered in the market. It is very rare of me to go on a shopping spree. I just love to save money and invest on the more necessary items, but when those rare moments occur it’s so heavenly to walk off with bags in hand.
I was in Sandton on Friday. I’m on holiday now so just lazing around the mall was a good activity for me on a friday morning. I always do my clothes shopping at Sandton.
I clicked away some snaps. It was so awkward snapping away when no ones around at that early hour of the morning. They were few people strolling around waiting for the shops to open.
This is the new section of the building. Not many people have been here. The shopping area was renovated and a new section was built and all the new branded stores are situated in this area. I call this section to be affluent and opulent. The people with loads of stash can buy their hearts out.
A touch screen info help!!! Technology is booming…I have not seen such technology in other malls that I have visited locally and internationally.
I am moving to the old section where you can see the difference. The old section creates a different atmosphere. With the wooden framed windows, olden day washrooms and dull tiles.
Just love this place. When you have loads of teenage cousins or friends this is the best place for gifts.
Wanna buy loved ones some jewellery?? Women love Swarovski crystals, they might deny it, but don’t think twice, think Swarovski.
Food court – Can’t shop without food in the tummy! This is not only the eatery section. One should visit the Nelson Mandela square for an outside atmosphere food court.
Woolworths – This is the intersection of old and new sections. This is where I do some of my food and clothes shopping. I would say the best quality of food and and clothes can be found in this store. How convenient? Increase your body calories at Mc D’s after shopping at Woolies.
