I got my nose pierced when I was 18 years old, before my engagement. In India especially in Tamil Nadu young women pierce their nose at a very early age. I received a diamond nose ring for my marriage from my amma by our traditional customs. I was wearing this diamond mookkutthi while I was Continue reading
Let your toes do the typing for once 🙂
Designed by Thailand shoe company Kito, the keyboard flip flops quite literally put computer keyboards on your feet. Of course the keyboards don’t actually work, but they’re realistic enough to give onlookers a reason to take a second glance. Will you potentially look really stupid to the fashion forward? Yes, quite possibly. But for a price of just a dollar, a few weird looks is worth having the most hacker-friendly feet in your neighbourhood.
It’s funny to see people in these keyboard foot wear. They just don’t realise they look geeky. I wonder if they are comfy and massaging 😛

I love window shopping Continue reading

I recently found quite a few interesting hobbies. Doing my family’s Continue reading
When I went to Kanchipuram in 2008 I learned how the beautiful sarees, that are bought at huge textiles stores like RMKV or Pothys, are made. It was an amazing experience. We walked into a shack like looking Continue reading
I stumbled across the following photo on facebook. I am not a makeup fundi. This will be a good guideline to the ladies (or men) on how to apply eye shadow. Hmm.. I usually use 2 shades of colours but hey you can use more than 2 or 3 to enhance your eyes. The photo below depicts 9 sections whereby you can differentiate your colours and apply.
I was reading these cool tips on the local newspaper and would love to promote it by publishing it on my blog 😉
