I just had a Rye bread veggie sandwich. Now, what is a Rye bread you may ask.
Rye bread is a type of bread made with various percentages of flour from rye grain. I have been working out recently at my nearest gym (Virgin active). My trainers have strongly recommended me to follow a strict diet and me being a vegetarian I have found a weekly diet planner that kinda works for me. I know it’s a difficult task to follow diet recipes and planners but if you want your body to shape up well with some exercise, its a must to follow at least 3/4 of the plan. I was such a junkie but I threw out that trash out of my snack cupboard and filled it with health snacks. Just try out this diet for 2 weeks and Exercise well. Eating raw fruits and veges can make anyone slim down. I know you will be craving for those crisps but control those taste buds for two weeks. You can make the veges tase super good with spicing and other flavourings. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT THAT ICE CREAM. GO AHEAD AND GOBBLE IT DOWN THEN EXERCISE!
Creamy Ven Pongal Recipe
Ven Pongal – Ven Pongal is a South Indian dish of Tamil cuisine. It is usually served at breakfast. Ven Pongal is made of rice and yellow lentils, nicely flavoured with cumin seeds and cashew nuts.
On a quiet Saturday afternoon, when you are home and you have nothing to do and feel very hot..but don’t have a swimming pool to dip yourself in (I do have a pool but was too lazy to dip my toe)..Drink vanilla milkshake!
1) Plain vanilla ice cream
2) I used clover vanilla flavoured milk, but you can use normal unflavoured milk
3) I used sprinkles to give my white drink some colour, but you can use chocolate flake or oreo crisps to “garnish” the drink

My chai time is between 16h00 to 17h00. Drinking tea and listening to Carnatic music is the best! I don’t like missing my chai time, if I do my evening gets ruined. That’s the one and only time I intake milk. I know its not healthy but am not a big fan of drinking milk.

Many people have a spice rack that looks pretty neat and kinda decorates the kitchen. I use a spice rack for my other spice inventory. For easy daily use..I call it “take ‘n use”.. I use a spice container which gets filled every now and then. My container looks like the one below, its a container with smaller partitions inside with a transparent air tight lid:
Why did I say Pav Dhal Makhani instead of Pav Bhaji?
I wanted to make some kinda dish that my taste buds were craving for, so I made Pav (bread rolls with butter/ghee) and Dhal Makhani as side dish.
