It is the power of faith that can part a river, move mountains, and endure the hardships that come bundled up for being an integral part of Kumbha Mela, a congregation of millions, gathered together to be freed from the vicious earthly cycle of life and death and move towards a heavenly realm, which knows no suffering or pain. It’s the mythological history of India and the sacred religious texts that bind us carnal souls to an eternal hope – things will be better, without the ever-imminent fear of them getting worse that cripples us here. “An eternal life free of sins” is the promise that comes attached with the magnificent Continue reading
Whenever I go on holidays to India with parents, there is always a temple trip. India trip wont be a fulfilling one without visiting some ancient temples and getting to know its history and specialities. Either visiting the kulam deivam or on the way to relative’s house, we drop by a temple.
Most of the huge and popular temples draw devotees who do Angapradhakshanam. I thought it to be a silly deed till I found the significance behind it. People rolling Continue reading

I am trying to make sense of the world. Through my long winded post I will be taking you into geography, economy, Hindu philosphy and science. Don’t worry, I will drop you off in your current state of mind.
How beautiful is the world. The nature may have the answer to our emotions but no to our existence. Many of us are trying to find out, what’s the purpose or the intention of this existence. It’s an ongoing topic. Many sages and saints in my religion have mentioned that life on Earth is for the only purpose of helping and doing community service Continue reading
